Four C’s Ranch was established on the values of hard work, dedication, and compassion for the animals they raise. The animals of this ranch have become family, and that is evident through the Cochran’s awards, products, and service to the community. Each one earns its name uniquely for its traits, character, or meaningful situations.
We have both Huacayas and Suri alpacas. Huacayas fleece yields super soft and comfy yarn products. They are mild mannered and excellent companion animals. Suri fleece is longer locks often referred to as “dreads” and their fiber is sleek and lustrous. Yarn made from Suri alpacas will make beautiful crocheted delicate items.
Alpacas are a great option for youth showing livestock. The Cochran’s daughter is a 5-time Obstacle/Public Relations champion at youth events such as the National Western Stock Show, Great Western Alpaca Show, and local 4H events with her alpacas she trained Junebug and Monsoon. There have been some memorable moments with Junebug in a wedding dress for the costume contest!
